Begin your adventure early in the morning as our professional mountain guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Moshi. Ensure you have your rain gear, walking poles, and snacks ready for the day’s hike.
Travel west towards Kilimanjaro’s Londorossi Gate, where the necessary paperwork for the hike will be completed. From here, the vehicle will ascend to a higher altitude, providing a scenic drive through lush landscapes.
Arriving at Morum Barrier, the trek to Shira One begins. Explore the Shira Plateau, marveling at its expansive views, unique vegetation, and diverse wildlife. Your guide will share insights about the area’s history and ecology.
After soaking in the beauty of the Shira Plateau, retrace your steps back to Morum Barrier. Here, the vehicle awaits to transport you back to Moshi, concluding your memorable day hike.
