Your Kenyan safari adventure begins in Nairobi, where you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha. En route, enjoy the breathtaking landscapes, and make a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic views. Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, take a boat ride to explore the freshwater lake, surrounded by lush greenery and inhabited by diverse bird species. Later in the day, continue your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its vibrant flamingo population and other wildlife. Enjoy an evening game drive before settling into your accommodation, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Today, you’ll head to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast, traverse the picturesque landscapes, arriving in time for lunch at your Mara camp or lodge. In the afternoon, set out on a thrilling game drive in search of the “Big Five” and other iconic African wildlife. The Masai Mara is famous for its abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, and wildebeests. As the sun sets, unwind at your accommodation, nestled in the heart of the reserve.
Immerse yourself in the magic of the Masai Mara with a full day dedicated to exploring its vast expanses. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives, maximizing your chances of witnessing the incredible wildlife in action. The Mara is also home to the annual Great Migration, a spectacular event where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals traverse the plains in search of greener pastures. During your day in the reserve, you’ll have the opportunity to witness this awe-inspiring natural phenomenon and capture unforgettable moments on camera.
Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Masai Mara (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages.
On your final day in the Masai Mara, start your morning with another exhilarating game drive, perhaps capturing any elusive sightings you may have missed. After lunch, bid farewell to the Mara as you begin your journey back to Nairobi. Arriving in the city in the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to reflect on your incredible safari experiences. With a load of memories to cherish, this is the time to say goodbye to Kenya. On your departure day, we’ll pick you up from the hotel and escort you to Nairobi International Airport, where you’ll catch your flight back home.
